AG & FBI acts at JFK

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement.

He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.' They use secret code names like "X" and "Y" and refer to themselves as "unknowns" but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philosopher Isosceles u sed to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Obama said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes." White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the President. It is believed that another Nobel Prize will follow.

Clinton's Nonexistent Church Burnings And Special Forces Racists--1996

One of the more prominent hoax hate crimes was invented by Bill Clinton when he was president.  In a 1996 radio address, Clinton said, "I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child."  No one else in Arkansas remembered a single church burning in Arkansas, ever.  Definitely not when Clinton was a child.

The Arizona Democrat-Gazette (Little Rock) checked with the state historian, current and past presidents of the Arkansas NAACP, the former president of the Regular Arkansas Baptist Convention, the chairman of the Arkansas Black History Advisory Committee--and all confirmed that there had been no church burnings in Clinton's own state.

There was no apology from the White House, much less from Clinton himself, for this despicable slander on the state of Arkansas.  The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post didn't mention Clinton's tall tale--though all newspapers ran stories on the fraudulent claim that there had been an upsurge in arson at black churches.

In fact, the burnings of churches, black and white, had been declining in recent years.  The hysteria about a new epidemic of black church burnings was completely counterfactual nonsense being put out by a liberal group in order to accuse right-wing rhetoric of inciting neo-Klanners.  Again, the lie part got a lot of coverage; the facts exposing the claim as a lie did not.

Then, during his 1996 reelection campaign, Clinton repeatedly trotted out a hoax hate crime against blacks allegedly committed by white Special Forces members.

At the 1996 Democratic National Convention, he said:
We still have too many Americans who give in to their fears of those who are different from them.  Not long ago, swastikas were painted on the doors of some African American members of our Special Forces at Fort Bragg.  Folks, for those of you who don't know what they do, the Special Forces are just what the name says; they are special forces.  If I walk off this stage tonight and call them on the telephone and tell them to go halfway around the world and risk their lives for you and be there by tomorrow at noon, they will do it.  They do not deserve to have swastikas on their doors.
He told the same yarn at a White House with the Boys and Girls Nation, in a speech to northern California Democrats, in remarks at a magnet school in Arkansas, and while chatting up a cocktail waitress in Des Moines.

As was already well known, the prime suspect was the black "victim" himself.  This had been widely reported in the press.  The soldier, not a member of Special Forces, by the way, was later discharged.

Clinton thus became the first president in history to knowingly make a false statement while giving a keynote address at a major party convention.  He did so to accuse the military of racism.   Just to cite one example of racism in America, here's a fraudulent one.

If I were claiming America has a long way to come on race relations, I think I'd showcase the hate crimes that weren't complete fabrications.  Someone should tell liberals that their argument about continuing racial problems would be more effective if they cited true cases of racism.

KWANZAA

link

  • Text smaller
  • Text bigger
Is it just me, or does Kwanzaa seem to come earlier and earlier each year? And let’s face it, Kwanzaa’s gotten way too commercialized.
A few years ago, I suspended my annual Kwanzaa column because my triumph over this fake holiday seemed complete. The only people still celebrating Kwanzaa were presidential-statement writers and white female public school teachers.
But it seems to be creeping back. A few weeks ago, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., complained about having to stick around Washington for fiscal cliff negotiations by accusing Republicans of not caring about “families” coming together to bond during Kwanzaa. The private schools have picked up this PC nonsense from the public schools. (Soon, no one will know anything.)
It is a fact that Kwanzaa was invented in 1966 by a black radical FBI stooge, Ron Karenga – aka Dr. Maulana Karenga – founder of United Slaves, a violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. He was also a dupe of the FBI.
In what was ultimately a foolish gamble, during the madness of the ’60s, the FBI encouraged the most extreme black nationalist organizations in order to discredit and split the left. The more preposterous the group, the better.
By that criterion, Karenga’s United Slaves was perfect. In the annals of the American ’60s, Karenga was the Father Gapon, stooge of the czarist police.
Despite modern perceptions that blend all the black activists of the ’60s, the Black Panthers did not hate whites. They did not seek armed revolution (although some of their most high-profile leaders were drug dealers and murderers). Those were the precepts of Karenga’s United Slaves.
United Slaves were proto-fascists, walking around in dashikis, gunning down Black Panthers and adopting invented “African” names. (That was a big help to the black community: How many boys named “Jamal” are currently in prison?)
It’s as if David Duke invented a holiday called “Anglika,” which he based on the philosophy of “Mein Kampf” – and clueless public school teachers began celebrating the made-up, racist holiday.
Whether Karenga was a willing dupe, or just a dupe, remains unclear.
Curiously, in a 1995 interview with Ethnic NewsWatch, Karenga matter-of-factly explained that the forces out to get O.J. Simpson for the “framed” murder of two whites included: “the FBI, the CIA, the State Department, Interpol, the Chicago Police Department” and so on. Karenga should know about FBI infiltration. (He further noted that the evidence against O.J. “was not strong enough to prohibit or eliminate unreasonable doubt” – an interesting standard of proof.)
In the category of the-gentleman-doth-protest-too-much, back in the ’70s, Karenga was quick to criticize rumors that black radicals were government-supported. When Nigerian newspapers claimed that some American black radicals were CIA operatives, Karenga publicly denounced the idea, saying, “Africans must stop generalizing about the loyalties and motives of Afro-Americans, including the widespread suspicion of black Americans being CIA agents.”
Now we know that the FBI fueled the bloody rivalry between the Panthers and United Slaves. In one barbarous outburst, Karenga’s United Slaves shot to death two Black Panthers on the UCLA campus: Al “Bunchy” Carter and John Huggins. Karenga himself served time, a useful steppingstone for his current position as a black studies professor at California State University at Long Beach.
Karenga’s invented holiday is a nutty blend of schmaltzy ’60s rhetoric, black racism and Marxism. The seven principles of Kwanzaa are the very same seven principles of the Symbionese Liberation Army, another charming legacy of the Worst Generation.
In 1974, Patricia Hearst, kidnap victim-cum-SLA revolutionary, posed next to the banner of her alleged captors, a seven-headed cobra. Each snake head stood for one of the SLA’s revolutionary principles: Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba and Imani – the exact same seven “principles” of Kwanzaa.
Kwanzaa praises collectivism in every possible area of life – economics, work, personality, even litter removal. (“Kuumba: Everyone should strive to improve the community and make it more beautiful.”) It takes a village to raise a police snitch.
When Karenga was asked to distinguish Kawaida, the philosophy underlying Kwanzaa, from “classical Marxism,” he essentially said that, under Kawaida, we also hate whites. (Kawaida, Kwanzaa and Kuumba are also the only three Kardashian sisters not to have their own shows on the E! network.)
While taking the “best of early Chinese and Cuban socialism” – excluding, one hopes, the forced abortions, imprisonment of homosexuals and forced labor – Karenga said Kawaida practitioners believe one’s racial identity “determines life conditions, life chances and self-understanding.” There’s an inclusive philosophy for you.
Kwanzaa was the result of a ’60s psychosis grafted onto the black community. Liberals have become so mesmerized by multicultural nonsense that they have forgotten the real history of Kwanzaa and Karenga’s United Slaves – the violence, the Marxism, the insanity.
Most absurdly, for leftists anyway, they have forgotten the FBI’s tacit encouragement of this murderous black nationalist cult founded by the father of Kwanzaa.
Kwanzaa emerged not from Africa, but from the FBI’s COINTELPRO. It is a holiday celebrated exclusively by idiot white liberals. Black people celebrate Christmas. (Merry Christmas, fellow Christians!)
Sing to “Jingle Bells”:
Kwanzaa bells, dashikis sell
Whitey has to pay;
Burning, shooting, oh what fun
On this made-up holiday!

Couple of good ones from clik in the UK

clik says:
A chap sees an advert in a pet shop window for a talking centipede, priced at £500. Thinking he's found a bargain, he buys it and takes it home in a box. After about 30 minutes, he opens the box and politely asks if the centipede would like to go down the pub for a pint, but the centipede doesn't answer, so a couple of minutes later, he asks again, but still no response. He starts to get a bit annoyed and thinking he's been done he shouts the question again, at which the centipede pops his head out of the box and says, "I heard you the first time you fool, I'm putting my shoes on!"

Racial Race Remediation for the Race of Life

link

Unbeknownst to most black parents is the fact that most black students who manage to graduate from high school cannot read and compute any better than whites four years younger and still in junior high school. Here's a question for you: If we put a group of 100 students of any race having an eighth-grade level of proficiency and another group of 100 students of any race with a 12th-grade level of proficiency in college, is it reasonable to expect the first group to perform as well as the second? On top of that, is it reasonable to expect a student of any race to be able to make up 12 years of fraudulent K-12 education in the space of four or five years of college?

In 1960, Detroit's population was 1.6 million. Blacks were 29 percent, and whites were 70 percent. Today, Detroit's population has fallen precipitously to 707,000, of which blacks are 84 percent and whites 8 percent. Much of the city's decline began with the election of Coleman Young, Detroit's first black mayor and mayor for five terms, who engaged in political favoritism to blacks and tax policies against higher income mostly white people. Young's successors, Dennis Archer and Kwame Kilpatrick, followed his Third World tyrant policies, but neither had his verbal vulgarity. Kilpatrick (2002-2008) went to jail and is on trial today on charges of corruption. Mayor David Bing is making an effort to revive Detroit. His problem is that he's not God.

Forward" to the Past?

Forward" to the Past?

Click if you like this column!

The political slogan "Forward" served Barack Obama well during this year's election campaign. It said that he was for going forward, while Republicans were for "going back to the failed policies that got us into this mess in the first place."
It was great political rhetoric and great political theater. Moreover, the Republicans did virtually nothing to challenge its shaky assumptions with a few hard facts that could have made those assumptions collapse like a house of cards.
More is involved than this year's political battles. The word "forward" has been a political battle cry on the left for more than a century. It has been almost as widely used as the left's other favorite word, "equality," which goes back more than two centuries.
The seductive notion of economic equality has appealed to many people. The pilgrims started out with the idea of equal sharing. The colony of Georgia began with very similar ideas. In the midwest, Britain's Robert Owen-- who coined the term "socialism"-- set up colonies based on communal living and economic equality.
What these idealistic experiments all had in common was that they failed.
They learned the hard way that people would not do as much for the common good as they would do for their own good. The pilgrims nearly starved learning that lesson. But they learned it. Land that had been common property was turned into private property, which produced a lot more food.
Similar experiments were tried on a larger scale in other countries around the world. In the biggest of these experiments-- the Soviet Union under Stalin and Communist China under Mao-- people literally starved to death by the millions.
In the Soviet Union, at least 6 million people starved to death in the 1930s, in a country with some of the most fertile land on the continent of Europe, a country that had once been a major exporter of food. In China, tens of millions of people starved to death under Mao.
Despite what the left seems to believe, private property rights do not exist simply for the sake of people who own property. Americans who do not own a single acre of land have abundant food available because land is still private property in the United States, even though the left is doing its best to restrict property rights in both the countrysides and in the cities.
The other big feature of the egalitarian left is promotion of a huge inequality of power, while deploring economic inequality.
It is no coincidence that those who are going ballistic over the economic inequality between the top one or two percent and the rest of us are promoting a far more dangerous concentration of political power in Washington-- where far less than one percent of the population increasingly tell 300 million Americans what they can and cannot do, on everything from their light bulbs and toilets to their medical care.
This movement in the direction of central planning, under the name of "forward," is in fact going back to a system that has failed in countries around the world-- under both democratic and dictatorial governments and among peoples of virtually every race, color, creed, and nationality.
It is one thing when conservative leaders like Ronald Reagan in America and Margaret Thatcher in Britain declared central planning a failure. But what really puts the nails in the coffin is that, before the end of the 20th century, both socialist and communist governments around the world began abandoning central planning.
India and China are the biggest examples. In both countries, cutbacks on government control of the economy were followed by dramatically increased economic growth rates, lifting millions of people out of poverty in both countries.
The ultimate irony is that the most recent international survey of free markets found the world's freest market to be in Hong Kong-- in a country still ruled by communists! But the Chinese communists have at least learned, the hard way, a lesson that Barack Obama seems oblivious to.
We are going "forward" to a repeatedly failed past, following a charismatic leader, after a 20th century in which charismatic leaders led countries into unprecedented catastrophes.

Obama Announces Gun Crackdown Today

Obama laid out his gun ban plan today -- ban so-called "Assault Weapons", "High-Capacity" Magazines, and ALL Private Firearms Sales without government permission.  --National Association for Gun Rights

So there it is:  Ban the private sale of a weapon from one citizen to another without a federal government permission slip.  THAT's what they always meant by the "gun show loophole."  It has nothing to do with gun shows.  It is all about keeping you from selling your gun to your friend or neighbor, or giving a gun to your wife, or brother, or son, or father, or buying a gun from another private citizen.

That right there is a right that you will lose forever very shortly.  Better buy or sell your guns now while you can!

ATF are Tax Accountants playing Cowboys and Indians

Good luck with that! Randy Weaver (of Ruby Ridge), a former Green Beret soldier, was accused of selling a shotgun, the stock of which was supposedly 3/8th of an inch too short without paying a $200 tax for the NFA restricted weapon. He claimed that the undercover agent must ahve shortened it because it was legal when he sold it.
When the Feds couldn't persuade him to serve as a snitch within a group, of which he wasn't a member, they prosecuted. When he received a notice from the court that the hearing date had been changed, it turned out that the notice was wrong by 30 days. He didn't show for the hearing because his notice said it was a month away. The judge issued a warrant for his arrest for not showing.
Three Feds trespassed on his property, shot and killed his dog for no reason and shot his 14 year old son in the back, killing him. A friend killed the ATF agent that killed them. After a standoff, the reinforced Feds shot Weaver and the friend and then shot weaver's wife in the head as she was nursing her infant, killing her instantly. After a long standoff, Weaver surrendered. He was cleared of every charge except failure to appear, (which was, of course ridiculous) but was given credit for time served and released. Everyone else was acquitted.
So, no harm, no foul? But, they killed his wife, son and dog while trespassing. They shot him and a friend. They ignored his rights and attacked his property for reasons that they manufactured in order to get him to be a snitch.
Good luck standing up to those sort of people. The same ones that now sexually assault people who want to travel by plane, or train, or bus.

Why have this site This site is owned by Steve Aikens and Gary Slider. We firmly believe in the Second Amendment, Concealed Carry and the fact that we have both a right and responsibility to take a pro-active position in our personal defense. Unfortunately, we recognize there are so many variances in our state to state laws, the average individual may have difficulty keeping up with those laws well enough to prevent them from breaking the law, especially as they travel. Since we have the ability to research those laws and create an informative Concealed Carry specific site, we have done so.

Golf on Christmas Day

Veedub says:
Golf on Christmas Day
Four old timers were playing their weekly game of golf, one remarked how nice it would be to wake up on Christmas morning, roll out of bed and, without an argument, go directly to the golf course, meet his friends and play a round.

His mates all chimed in said, "Let's do it! We'll make it a priority; figure out a way and meet here early, Christmas morning."

Months later, that special morning arrives, and there they are on the golf course. The first man said, "This game cost me a fortune! I bought my wife a diamond ring that she can't take her eyes off ."

The second player said, "I spent a ton too. My wife is at home planning the cruise I promised her. She was up to her eyeballs in brochures."
The third said "Well my wife is at home admiring her new Jaguar car, reading the manual."

They all turned to the last one in the group who is staring at them like they have lost their minds. "I can't believe you all went to such expense for this golf game. I slapped my wife on the bum and said, `Well babe, Merry Christmas! It's a great morning -- intercourse or golfcourse '
She said, "Don't forget your sweater."

Dear Terry,

Many blogs and websites address the question you bring up about how PPACA affects or doesn’t affect expatriates and Medicare in particular.  The following link may be of particular assistance:  http://www.americaninsuranceforexpats.com/expatriate-life/does-obamacare-affect-medicare/

With regard to the individual mandate provision: U.S. citizens living abroad are exempted. In addition, U.S. citizens living abroad will be ineligible to purchase coverage through any individual plan offered through an Exchange (see PPACA § 1312(f)(1)(A)(ii)).

Good day,

Your web site states: "Further, U.S. Medicare and Medicaid programs do not provide payment for medical services outside the United States."

Does this apply under Obamacare at present, or is it going to phase out at some future time?  Since we are still obligated for income tax, how can we be denied federal medical coverage.  Will the health insurance mandate apply to all Americans or only those resident in the States?

Many thanks,
Terry

A Little Background on Edward Harriman

From the Auctioneer

link

[Mr. Harriman employed my grandfather, John "Jack" Rigley, as a stable lad shortly after Rigley's emigration from Ireland.  Rigley taught Harriman's son, Averell, how to ride a horse.]

"Never before have we seen the Indians of North America so close to the origins of their humanity, their sense of themselves in the world, their innate dignity and self-possessions." - N. Scott Momaday, Pulitzer Prize-winning Native American author

Originally an edition of 500 sets was proposed, but only 214 sets were subscribed to, and another sixty were compiled and sold later. The set offered here was obtained by the consignor in 1999 from the Mary W. Harriman Foundation. Mary was the widow of railroad magnate Edward Harriman, another of Curtis's most important patrons. According to the Curtis biography Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher by Timothy Egan. Mary Harriman was listed in a letter written by Curtis in 1912 as one of the prominent subscribers to the set. Thus, it should be noted that Set #308 (The Harriman Set) was undoubtedly listed with Curtis' company, The North American Indian, Inc., at some point, under the name of Mrs. E.H. Harriman. It is unclear whether this occurred before or after E.H. Harriman's death in 1909, two years after the introduction of The North American Indian series. It was Edward Harriman who financed the 1899 Alaska expedition for which Curtis served as the original photographer, and which would provide the inspiration and impetus for Curtis's magnum opus, The North American Indian. Volume I is signed by Curtis and dated 1907, the year the first volume appeared with an introduction by President Theodore Roosevelt. The Harriman Set is of the highest quality available, printed on India Proof Paper ("tissue") tipped in, and Dutch Van Gelder Paper. Only an estimated fifteen of the original subscriber sets were printed on tissue, including Curtis's personal set and those of J. P Morgan and the King of England. These last three sets are all housed in institutional collections, leaving only the Harriman Set still available for private ownership.

EDWARD H. HARRIMAN AND EDWARD S. CURTIS

"Much good work is lost for want of a little more." - Edward H. Harriman

Harriman (1848 - 1909) rose from humble beginnings to become one of the five wealthiest men in the world. A grade-school drop-out, he enjoyed a meteoric rise on Wall Street before turning his energies to railroads at the age of thirty-three. He has been designated one of history's twenty most important business leaders by Forbes magazine. His son Averell would become an ambassador, cabinet member, and governor of New York, and during the 1950s was a serious aspirant to the Democratic Party's nomination for president of the United States. Upon Edward's death, his wife Mary, sole heir to his vast estate, would become an active philanthropist. The twenty loose supplementary portfolios of photos which accompanied the twenty volume set were dispersed over the years, but the Volumes have remained intact until the Set was obtained by the present owner from the Mary Harriman Foundation in 1999.

In 1899 Edward Harriman organized and financed the largest and most famous scientific expedition the world had ever seen, the Harriman Alaska Expedition. Scientists made over 600 important discoveries during the expedition, and created an invaluable survey and assessment of Alaska in the days of the Klondike Gold Rush, when the Territory was going through major transition. The project would lend impetus to the nascent movement to preserve America's wilderness, a movement spearheaded by Harriman Expedition member John Muir, and soon after by Curtis's greatest champion Theodore Roosevelt.

Curtis was named the official photographer of the Expedition, on which he met and worked with many of the great scientific luminaries of the day. One of these was George Bird Grinnell, with whom Curtis went to live in Montana the following year to photograph the Blackfeet and Piegan. It was the watershed moment in Curtis's professional life, and launched him on his thirty year mission to create The North American IndianWithout his seminal experiences on the Harriman Alaska Expedition, it is doubtful that Curtis would ever have envisioned or created his masterwork. . . .
