George Mason University School of Law: Upcoming Events:: "William K. Suter, clerk of the U.S. Supreme Court, will be at the law school to discuss Oral Advocacy Techniques at the Supreme Court and answer student questions. Suter, a retired U.S. Army major general, became clerk of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1991. Previously he was the assistant judge advocate general of the Army and chief judge of the U.S. Army Court of Military Review and commander of the U.S. Army Legal Services Agency.The lecture will be open to the entire law school and will provide a unique opportunity for students to get an insider's perspective on practicing before the U.S. Supreme Court and effective oral argument techniques. Mr. Suter will speak for 30-45 minutes and then take questions.
