FYI on this new resource from Thomson via FindLaw. It is free but you need to register first. I've used it a few times already and it's been helpful for individual attorney profile information. Various Dorsey Marketing personnel have been talking with Thomson about this. Joe got a head's up on it from Tara Graves in Marketing in NY. I've heard about it from Silvia Coulter and Carolee Swallie.

Thomson Legal Record

The Thomson Legal Record combines an attorney's litigation history from WestLaw® with the attorney's profile from FindLaw®, helping corporate counsel research and evaluate outside counsel. It enables firms to present an objective view of their attorneys' experience and credentials, based on multiple information sources, consolidated onto one page.

The Thomson Legal Record brings together:

The attorney's West Legal Directory profile
Most recent reported federal cases, populated by Westlaw Litigator
Most recent reported state cases, populated by Westlaw Litigator
Judges an attorney has most often appeared before
Links to the attorney's articles and seminar materials published on FindLaw
A list of all links to Web information about the attorney, drawn from FindLaw's LawCrawler

Hubbard One and FindLaw worked together to simplify the process of updating full profile information in the legal record. You can now update your Thomson Legal Record attorney profiles in Hubbard's FirmConnect software, eliminating double entries and streamlining the maintenance process.

Visit The Thomson Legal Record to access valuable information related to attorneys' experience and credentials.
