Ananova:
Bullet-attack tortoise fitted with TV wheels
A pet tortoise is relying on a set of television wheels to get around after being hit by a stray bullet.
A Brazilian vet came up with the idea after the reptile's back feet were paralysed in the accident.
But the tortoise is now looking for a new home because its owner lives on a steep hill in Rio.
The Guardian reports the wheels have been taped to the underside of the 20-year-old red-footed tortoise.
Vet Eliane Jessula says the system works well, but the pet needs to live on a flat stretch of land as there is no breaking mechanism.
